The
song for today is “勞斯．萊斯” by Denise Ho. I had talked
about the demo version “勞絲.萊絲” by Charmaine Fong
previously. The two versions share the same name (although the words used are
slightly different, they pronounced the same). The two versions got different
lyrics despite they got similar story line. The direct English translation of
the title is “Rolls．Royce”
The
lyrics of the song are about gay love. It said, Rolls and Royce are both young
man. Rolls was originally one of the best player in the school team. Royce just
likes to read. But the two just happened to see each other all the time, and
they always wore the same clothes. The romance story begin from the two accompanying
table, but the two of them not dare to go wantonly. Perhaps being close friends
always carry love. But being such a good brother and love each other so much,
others will always say no this this relationship. When they got carried away
sometime they put their hands onto the other shoulder, but one of them will
back off. They enjoyed it secretly, but worry to speak out. Even when they try
to lost eye contacts, they knows in their heart that this is love. Boy and boy,
how could they get so close? Rolls is hard to handle this, but he and her had
once promised each other. Though at the same time, Royce is also so crazy about
him. And finally, there is this time when she run into Rolls. They looked into each
other’s eyes and took off their clothes. Rolls was confused, but now he knows
that he never saw her as a girl. Perhaps being close friends always carry love.
But being such a good brother and love each other so much, others will always
say no this this relationship. Why this pure love would start something bad? He
was really surprise, and thought about the time when they meet, they always study,
listen to music and gaze at the sea together. Every day they were so close like
a couple, and it was finally exposed. Why still worry, if you think this is
love? Still calculating who he is and whether he is loveable? Who would accept
this kind of love? You are a perfect match, but because everyone else hated
this relationship and you let it go. You tried to hold onto your emotion
forever and never come out, they world will then never change. This will let
more crime to burry love. You need to love like the story of Liang Zhu (“Butterfly
Lovers”, a very famous Chinese story that is about a girl dressed up as a boy
to go to school. Note that girl back then were not allowed to go to school.
There was this boy in her class that got very close to her. The two didn’t know
whether it was love or not as the boy thinks that they were both boys. At the
end, they found out about the girl true identity. She passes away and formed a
