The
song for today is “豬小姐” by Myolie Wu. This was a theme
song for a TV drama, it share the same melody as “豬先生” by
Andy Hui as they were both for the same drama, though the arrangement of the
songs and the lyrics are slightly different. The direct English translation of
the title is “Ms. Pig”.
The
lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that she is so naïve like
a stupid pig, and she never got anyone cheering for her. But she is lucky to
have him to fall in love with her weaknesses, so perhaps happiness doesn’t need
to be rich. The world likes to stare at her funny acts with a cold eye. If she
could make him laugh, then she feels that there is at least a purpose in her
life and she is willing to perform this stupid act as donation. What a stupid
pig and everyone wants to make fun of her. She can’t pretend to be a princess
and didn’t manage to meet someone hot. She is calm to face the sad truth, and
collect all these experiences to form a book to make him laugh. A stupid pig,
but she felt better than that mermaid. Even when she fight she will lose, but
she never blamed anyone. She will just think that her life is makeup with
special relationships. She wishes that he will come and call her stupid pig and
talk in their secret love language. Even a sad turtle, she is managing to see the
beauty of it. She feels proud to have him, so being happy you first need to
through away your wisdom. Does it means that if her legs are thinner, it means
she is the most beautiful? She thanks him for loving her, as she knows that she
is not replaceable and it is a proof that you can’t put people in classes. Hope
