The
song for today is “Hideaway” by Wanting Qu (曲婉婷). Wanting is a Chinese Canadian, a lot of her songs are in English, including this one. I have been
listening to a lot of her song recently, and this one is one of those that I
have been looping a lot. Despite this song is an English, she did also gave it
a Chinese name “避風港” as mentioned in one of her live performance video.
According to that video, this song was inspired by her father.
The
lyrics of the song are about the relationship between father and daughter. As
there is nothing to translate for this song, so I just copy and paste the
