The
song for today is “忘記背叛” by Dave Wong. This was a song
released in 2002. The direct English translation of the title is “Forget about betrayal”.
The
lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist asked when his girlfriend
revenge on him, would it hurt? She betrayed him. They once yelled at each
other, and they were lost. What’s left behind is nothing more than what’s lost.
He doesn’t understand, how could they waited the flower to blossom, but not
waited the fruit to form (This is based on the Chinese saying “花開結果”,
directly means flower blossom and fruit form. Usually used to describe a
relationship, that it blossom and end with a happy ending). Perhaps it was that
he loves her so much, to a point that he lost himself and starting to play with
fire. He said he hasn’t aged too much, not the inside nor the outside, still
looks simple. She once again fallen in love with him, yet he didn’t managed to
notice it early enough. This relationship, this love, what’s left behind is
more than what’s lost. He worry that he will lost her and forever in pain, so
he kisses her until they are both tired and forget about the sky that they were
staring at. So truthful, more and more and more. He loves her more than he
loves himself. Protecting her more than anyone else. So truthful, more and more
and more. She knows, so he doesn’t need to say it anymore. For her, he is
willing to be conquered until dead. Hope you will like the song.
