The song for today is “失控” by Hubert Wu. Hubert is quite a new singer, from memory he was the winner of 2011 Hong Kong version of “The Voice” (a singing contest show). This is a song from his first and also his latest album. The English translation of the title is “Lost control”

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist broke up with his girlfriend because she falls in love with another guy. The protagonist is very unhappy, but he felt very weak at that time so he didn’t voice out his anger/unhappiness. Afterward, he went home, sit on the floor and he lost control of himself, tears coming out, started yelling and pushing the chairs down on the floor.  He felt helpless and he felt that no one can help him out. He can only hear people laughing at him. He questioned is it because he is more sensitive, didn’t wanted to yell at others, so he deserved this kind of treatment. Then he question is it that because of he is timid like rubbish, so that she leaved him for other guys.  He felt like he is an alien that doesn’t fit in the world, so he wonders would anyone ever love him for who he is. The song is a bit heavy, but I hope you will enjoy it.
