16th July 2014 (心亂如麻 – Jacklyn Wu)

The song for today is “心亂如麻” by Jacklyn Wu. The direct English translation of the title is “Heart is as confuse as flax” (this is a Chinese phase, meaning that a person is very confuse and not sure what to do). Note that this is a different song to Janice’s “心亂如麻” (25th Nov 2013 (心亂如麻 – Janice Vidal)), although they share the same name, they are two completely different songs.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that she doesn’t want this kind of friendship, as she is scare to control every expression on her face; using her tears to test his reactions or just a polite smile. Is unrequired love the same as love? But she believed that their love was once intense. Even if he is lacking reaction, she is still there to create their future vision. Her heart is as confuse as flax, and it is hard to stop thinking about it. So may as well to treat him as an unknown to get him surprise, but when she leave she feels attached. Her heart is as confuse as flax, and it is hard to stop thinking about it. From a relax conservation and all of a sudden turn awkward, the more happy she is the more worry she gets. She doesn’t want to make a quick decision, as she feels proud of the relationship even when not too many people know about it. If he gave her over reaction, then even drinking bitter wine would get her awake. Is unrequired love the same as love? Even if it lack love, it still feels warm. Talking to him make her feels happy, so who would care even if it doesn’t have love or hate. Hope you will like the song.
