The song that I chose for today is “原來只要為你活一天” by Kit Chan. This was a song from Jacky’s musical “雪狼湖” (“Snow wolf lake”). This musical was very popular back in the 90’s, as very much all the songs from the musical were big hit. The direct English translation of the title is “So I only need to live for you for one day”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that she already knew that knowing him would be a defect. Perhaps it was fate that leads them together, but it couldn’t be. She wanted to love even though that might mean she will sacrifice herself. So she only needed to live with him for one day, and she will forget everything else in the world. So everything in the world would change, but waiting for him for half of her life and he wouldn’t change. She wishes that she could live with him for a day and discovered everything about him. She wishes that he will see it one day, that the she who give him real love will not regret, for every day. Hope you will like the song.
