Today’s song is “感冒” by Karen Tong. Karen was one quite popular in the late 80’s early 90’s. This song that I post up here today is one of her most famous song. I think the reason why it was so popular was because it was a song written for an ad. The ad was a medicine for cold (something like Panadol). The English translation is “Cold” (cold as in sickness, not the feeling).

The lyrics of the song is about cold (of cause), but it uses cold as an analogy for love. It say that love is like a cold, it could be long or short. Sometime you feel unhappy, but you could be healed by having dinner with your love one (i.e. the medicine). When we get dump, it feel like a cold as well, we need time to heal our pain. Hope you will enjoy this song.
