Today’s song is “三角誌” by Candy Lo. This is one of my favourite by Candy. It actually has an English title, which is “Triangular Love”, indicating that this song is about love triangle.

The lyrics are about the protagonist found out that her boyfriend had fallen in love with another person. But rather than blaming on the girl stealing her boyfriend, she questions whether their relation would remain unharmed if the third girl didn’t appeared. She believed that even if she had done everything to prevent him meeting the third girl, if he can change his heart so easily, he would end up meeting a fourth girl. She remembered that when she first started with him, he already had a girlfriend, and it was because of her, he ended his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, now she had just changed role. From the lyrics, you can feel that the protagonist don’t blame the boy for their breakup, as she believe that she should have expected this to happen someday. Also, I think she feel sorry for him in some sense as he isn’t able to found his true love. Hope you will enjoy the song.
