The
song that I chose for today is “絕” by Maggie Fu. This song came out in
1999, from memory this song wasn’t that popular. The English translation of the
title is “extreme”, but this word by itself in Chinese have quite a lot of
meaning, in this context, I think what it means “hopeless”
The
lyrics is very simple, it is just about the protagonist had just been dump by
her boyfriend. She feels hopeless, and found there is no purpose in life. Personally
I love this song, I like the melody of the song and the way Maggie express the
feeling in the song. Hope you will like it as well.
