Today’s
song is “眼睛不能沒眼淚” by Leo Ku. The direct English translation of the
title is “Eyes must have tears”. This
song came out in 2008.
The
lyrics of the song are about the protagonist trying to tell her ex-girlfriend
not to feel guilty about dumping him and falling in love with another guy. In
the lyrics, the protagonist is sad, he even mentioned that he can’t fall to
sleep. But what he was trying to say in here is that if you really love
someone, you would wish that they can found their true love, so he told his ex-girlfriend
not to feel guilty about falling in love with another guy, he can cope with the
pain and he would be glad that she could find her true love. The song is rather
sad, but I think the message is rather true, we should be glad that our love
one can live happily, but self-sacrifice is very hard to achieve. Hope you will
