The song for today is “時間瓶” by Priscilla Chan. This was from a concept album call “愛戀二千小時” by Priscilla, which was sold with a novel of the same name of the album. This album didn’t sell too well back when it was released, but there are lot of gems in there that many people don’t know about. One of them is this song. The direct English translation of the title is “Time bottle”.

The lyrics of the song are about love, the protagonist is about to force to be separated with her boyfriend (from memory, in the story of the novel, her boyfriend got cancer and are about to die). She said she once asked him and herself how could she be captured. Looking at him, looking at her, but why it still not enough. She wishes that there is a bottle that could capture the happy moments. Keeping him, keeping her, forced to end the song. Time, time, what makes my heart fly away. Like wave passes, dream passes, always so quickly that she feels it is not enough. If ther is a bottle that can carry all her time and years, then in the future she can uses it all to be in love with him again. But in this life, she has no regrets. She was glad that she found him. She smile even when she cry. The sky will not get dim, her heart will not be darken. They might only manage to meet for a short time, but it is the deepest and the most realistic. She doesn’t know how to thanks him for leaving so many beautiful things for her.
