4th Jul 2015 (離魂記 – Endy Chow)

The song for today is “離魂記” by Endy Chow. This song was from 2012. The direct English translation of the title is “The story of soul leaving the body”.

The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist is dying, his soul is leaving his body and he wanted to tell his last word to his girlfriend. He said: “Around the bed, everyone is so lost, like they heard something bad. The very sick me suddenly see light, like thunder and lighting. Straight away I left my body behind, my soul escaped. Wished that I could tell everyone. You got to be able to let go, as love main to be something that will give you live and dead in this life time. Fate comes and goes, that someone will start to wait again. Burry the someone from before and surely the next one will come, without letting go, you can have love. In the mortal world, times flies. You found your lover. But no one would have thought that he would go and please another. I couldn’t stand this, so I always visit and tell you in your dream. You got to be able to let go, as love main to be something that will give you live and dead in this life time. Fate comes and goes, that someone will start to wait again. You haven’t realised that there is a spirit that covered you, but the shell is turning into dust. You should have got married then back off from it to return all the love and hate. If I still got my body, you would once again be mine. You got to be able to let go, as love main to be something that will give you live and dead in this life time. Fate comes and goes, that someone will start to wait again. Accompanying that person to death but at the end realised that he isn’t the Mr. Right for you. Wrongly matched colour. You got to be able to let go, seeing you this life live and die for love. Perhaps one day when your hair turn white, you would still be waiting. Wait until next life to return, people would have left, but the love will still be there. Passing along between the stars.” Hope you will like the song.
