The song for today is “妖女” by Anita Mui. I chose this song for today because it is Anita’s birthday. Although I am not a fan of Anita songs, but I have to admit that she was big star from the 80’s to the 00’s. Even though she had passed away many years ago, but she still remains in our heart. Although there are still many stars as famous as she was, but none are willing to use their popularity as a strength to help out the society and stand up for their believes (the only one that I could think of is Denise Ho, one of Anita’s students, the only one that I think that learned all the essentials from Anita). Anyway back to the song, the title in English is “Evil girl”, but if translated more by the meaning, it is closer as “Gipsy”. This song is the Chinese cover version of a Japanese song “立ちっぱなしのBad Boy” by Ann Lewis (アン・ルイス).

The lyrics of the song are about how a boy bump into this ‘evil girl’ and got attracted by her. It said, people are gathering on the street, quietly saying how bad this boy is. He arrived with only glove on his left hand and gives them a cold smile. He arrived with a lot of pride, but also with a lot of taste. Many had fallen for him and he hand also destroyed and trashed many. Everyone called him Bad Boy. But destiny led him to meet this evil girl at night. He should be careful tonight that his heart might be taken by this girl. She is will to show her pride side. Her bright red laps might make him hate her and got him crazy about her. The evil girl put her hands on her hip and side stare at the bad boy, and slightly opens her lips, which could distract his thought. The evil girl put her hands on her hip and side stare at the bad boy, the spark from her hips could evaporate every deep sea. Come on bad boy, as she never sees him as a challenge. Come on bad boy, if he dare to make tonight be more spectacular together. But destiny led him to meet this evil girl at night. He should be careful tonight as he might never wanted to back out again. Standing or sitting, his legs might be banded. After staring, those males who felt fulfilled might feel empty. The evil girl is about to take control of the bad boy. Hope you will like the song.
