The
song that I chose for today is “一切也願意” by Shirley Kwan. I have
completely forgotten about this song until I recently heard it on radio. This
song was quite popular back when it was released. The direct English translation
of the title is “Willing to do everything”.
The
lyrics of the song are about the protagonist worry about her relationship with
her boyfriend. It said, she lit a fire and couldn’t sleep. At this rainy silence
night, she is worry that she will lose it. HE said “don’t sleep”, so that they
could spend every second together. But if they are not tired, why would she
cry? If they are main to be together forever, then why she is worry about being
heartbroken? She is not worry about the trouble in the future as she believes
that they could face it. Who loves her truthfully? Why couldn’t she feel it?
Who could live a day without worry? If their love continues, eventually they
will get sick of this relationship. So infatuation and dream couldn’t coexist. If
he cause her heartbroken, then it would be much easier for her to leave him. If
he could understand that she had quietly put down this relationship, then she
is willing to scarify for him, even if that will cost her life. Hope you will
