The song for today is “綿綿” by Eason Chan. This is requested by a reader, and it is also one of the songs that I often listen. I didn’t like this song when I first it many many years ago, back then I enjoyed songs with fast tempo. But slowly as I grow up, I enjoyed the slow tempo more, nowadays I much prefer slow tempo then fast tempo. So around 6-7 years ago, when I heard this song again, I just fall in love with it. Eason express the sorrow of the song with a minimal climax, which I think is something that is very hard to do, but he did it very well. Anyway, back to the title, the direct English translation of the title is “Soft soft”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that he will probably never going to hug her again. Perhaps her body weight will bring him to dream. In the past, as he didn’t want to not show up at their date, he will try his best even if he was sick. Until which day would he think back and realised that it was stupid?
