The song that I chose for today is “歲月無聲” by Beyond. This is another popular song by Beyond. The direct English translation of the title is “Silent years”.

The lyrics of the song are about life, but like many other songs from Beyond, I feel that there is a deeper meaning to the lyrics. The protagonist said, he had drunk a thousand glasses of wine, but he still isn’t drunk, and he doesn’t care about the rain and wind that blow onto him. No matter how many wrongs she said he committed, he doesn’t feel anything. His tears had dried up and he is out of strength to look forward to anything again. The mountain is no longer hard to climb, but his shadow is accompanying her tiredly. Sand is not worry about being blow away by the wind, as they will be reunion one day, if he could stay behind. He got no choice but to keep singing this song; how many more heart break does he need to face? Could you stop stepping back and stop letting him down?
